[gfarm-announce:00482] GfarmFS-FUSE version 1.2 available

Hello all,

We are pleased to announce the release of GfarmFS-FUSE version 1.2.
It enables to mount a Gfarm file system in userspace via FUSE
mechanism in Linux.

The -f option improves file creation performance two to five times.
You may feel it greatly at daily use or when creating a lot of small
files.

GfarmFS-FUSE does not require glibc-not-hidden package and LD_PRELOAD
setting for existing binary applications to access Gfarm file system.
It removes limitation of redirection when overwriting or appending a
existing remote file via Gfarm syscall hook library.  It also makes
it possible to use a symbolic link and a hardlink by emulating these
operations.
