A new release of GfarmFS-FUSE version 1.3 is now available for download.

GfarmFS-FUSE allows application programs to access a Gfarm filesystem
without being modified.  This is accomplished by FUSE (Filesystem in
Userspace) functionality.  GfarmFS-FUSE is an alternative to the way
of using the Gfarm system-call hook library.  In particular, 
GfarmFS-FUSE resolves some limitation of Gfarm in itself.  The version
1.3 supports the latest FUSE, version 2.5, and has fewer limitations
than the GfarmFS-FUSE version 1.2.  When you have an application
program which may be useful to access a Gfarm filesystem, please try
this latest version of GfarmFS-FUSE.

In the latest version, -f option is gone because the option is not
necessary anymore in FUSE v2.5.  In case of that you use GfarmFS-FUSE
v1.3 with FUSE v2.4 or earlier, the GfarmFS-FUSE behaves with -f
option.  In addition, I/O buffer is used by default.  Please use -b
option which has been newly added to the latest version if you think
remote I/O becomes slower than before.  Except -f option, the latest
version keeps backward compatibility for options.  Please check
more details in README.
