(BHi Stella,
(B
(BYou can execute gfsd and gfmd as a root user to share the same Gfarm
(Bfile system among several users. When accesing the Gfarm file system,
(Ban ordinal user is assumed. Note that we do not support a root
(Bprivilege in Gfarm file system for now.

(BThanx Osamu. I've done the following now. I have created a user gfarm in the two nodes and in the two clients.
(BI issued the command gfmkdir gfarm:/gfarm
(BI created a key for gfarm user and I copied it to his home directories.
(BIn the two client machines, I created a folder /GF owned by gfarm:gfarm
(B
(BThen as user gfarm I do:
(B
(Bgfarmfs -N2 -m /gfarm /GF
(B
(BEverything is ok at this point except:
(B- df command says that the size of the gfarm is the half of the real size.
(B- gfhost -l shows bofh gfsd machines
(B- replicas do not work using gfarmfs. If I use the gfrep command I get the  warning: 'gfrep: warning: #host in domain(1) < #replica required(2)' . Do I have to add the gfsd servers to a common domain somehow?
(B- There's no way in my gfarm to have permissions other than gfarm user? I want in this mount point other users to be able to have their files.

(BRegarding the access problem, what is displayed by 'gfhost'
(Bwithout -l option. It shows current available file system nodes.
(BIf nothing is displayed, there is no file system node available
(Bfor the user. 'gfhost -lv' or 'gfrcmd -v <hostname> id' probably
(Bshows a some error message.
