[gfarm-discuss:42903] Re: new to gfarm: cannot fusermount

Hi Elzbieta,

We do not suggest to mount Gfarm at a directory in NFS.
It provides many problems in a cluster environment. Instead,
use a directory in a local file system like /tmp (or
/data/local in InTrigger platform).

This is because the gfmd (MDS in Gfarm) is dead by some reason.
We know it may be dead in some overloaded situation. We are
now investigating the reason.

Thanks,
Osamu
